What sort of software do you need to work with a LuckyMarble / i3dthemes template?

Basic software requirements

• an HTML editor as this is the basic tool every web master requires. There are several tools on the market but we only recommend 3:
• Microsoft FrontPage 2003
• Microsoft Expression Web
• Macromedia Dreamweaver (MX 2004, or 8)

Intermediate software requirements (optional)

• a graphic editor for replacing the images. There are quite a few on the market but we only recommend 1:
• Macromedia Fireworks 8

Advanced software requirements (optional)

• a graphic editor and Flash editor. The only program we recommend is the industry standard:
• Macromedia Flash 8 (basic or professional)

To complete the 'basic' updates, you only need an HTML editor. We've designed the template using HTML and Flash, and the elements of the flash intro that you would need to edit can all be modified using your favorite HTML editor.

If you want to take the template and modify the look and feel / color / layout beyond the original we provide detailed text and video instructions showing you how to use Macromedia Fireworks (for graphic modifications) and Macromedia Flash (for updating the colors of the flash intro).
