Animated effects basic tutorials
Most of our 'flash headers' include some type of repetitive
animation effect. Some folks really like this, and some find
it a bit of a distraction so we've included the option to
either remove the animation effects from the flash header,
or replace it with a new animation, or animated gif image.
- open the flash folder
- open the animations folder
- delete the 'animations.swf' file
TO REPLACE THE ANIMATION EFFECT WITH A NEW
EFFECT:
We really wanted to give you the
option of replacing the animation effect with your own. With
the number of 'easy to use' flash animation programs
available for under $99 is staggering. And many of them are
so easy to use! You can create your own 'animation' and
display it in your flash header along with the images,
taglines etc.
There are basically two options for replacing the
animation effect.
- create a new SWF file using your favorite SWF
editor, and name the file
animations.swf, and save this new file to the
flash/animations folder to over write the existing file.
- convert you animated GIF image, to SWF format, save
as animations.swf to the flash/animations folder.
In the case study we'll show you how to take an animated
GIF image, and convert it to a flash (SWF) file format that
can be imported into the web site.
