Animated taglines basic tutorials

• edit the tagline and message text

Animated taglines intermediate tutorials

• edit the font type
• edit the font color
• edit the font size
• move or re-located on page

The Message Headings and Taglines are loaded into the Flash Header from a text file. Edit the text on the text file, and this will modify the information being displayed in the Flash Header.

Edit the tagline and message text

• open the flash folder

• open the taglines folder

• open the taglines.txt file:

FrontPage 2003 double click to open

FrontPage 2000/2002 right click, select OPEN with >> NOTEPAD

• edit text as needed

Most 'tagline.txt' files will contain 2 lines of editable text for each 'group' of taglines.

&tagline1=This is the first tagline&
&message1=First Message goes here, up to 66 characters&

• edit the text "This is the first tagline" as needed

• edit the text "First Message goes here, up to 66 characters" as needed

• do not remove the = or & characters (before and after the editable text)

• USE ONLY LETTERS OR DIGITS in your heading and tagline message
  save

**To edit the font type size or color you will need to edit the original 'taglines.fla' source file using Macromedia Flash MX 2004 / 8.

**To move or re-locate the taglines on the page you will need to edit the original 'header.fla' source file using Macromedia Flash MX 2004 / 8.
