Designed for the Freedom Series Templates and Modules

What is a Web Template you ask?

A web template is simply a folder containing web pages, and web folders. The web pages are designed with graphics; include navigation bars, content layouts for text and images, and background images to add a specific ‘theme’ to the web pages. The pages may vary a bit in design to accommodate a range of uses. The index page or landing page is primarily set up to act as an introduction to your new visitors. So we’ve added a branding area to this page, which uses flash animation, text, and images to portray a message about your web site.

There are a variety of pages in your website, and there are template pages specifically designed to create NEW pages for your web site. You are not limited to the pages we’ve include in the template they are only a starting point.

You can do many things with the web pages, using your favorite HTML editor such as Microsoft FrontPage 2003, or Expression Web Designer. You can simply replace the text on the page, or add new text. Change the menu buttons, images.

Your template is a starting point for your web site. It is only intended to be a starting point as there are so many things you can do with a web site, most of which you’ll learn as your web site grows and you find new ideas for your site. There is no physical way we could include every cool feature found on the web, so we’ve included enough to get you started.

I’ve designed your template to work for a basic user. Open the site in your editor, add and remove pages, add content, menu buttons and even change the images with a bit of work. Much of the template is designed in a graphic program such as Macromedia Fireworks, or Adobe Photoshop. Modifying the template or customizing the template is possible. We even provide the source files if you wish to do this.

I will ask that only folks with previous Flash /Photoshop/Fireworks experience attempt to edit the source files. Editing the template pages, basic knowledge level required and I teach you how to do this with our video instruction series. Advanced modifications such as changing the color, this is best left to experienced folk. I don’t want to scare anyone away, but I don’t want you purchasing a template thinking that you can change the graphic design of the template using your HTML editor. It isn’t that simple. If you have the skill sets to edit the Flash FLA file, or Fireworks PNG file, you’ll know. If these terms are unfamiliar to you, you CAN learn how to do it, but I only recommend this to folks who are serious about learning how to work with a Graphic Editor, and animation Software. It takes a lot of time to learn how to work with Flash or Fireworks / Photoshop. If you are planning on doing this as a profession, then I STRONGLY recommend that you do learn. You’ll be able to take a $79 template, modify it for your client, and potentially earn thousands for doing so.
